Oconto Hospital Auxiliary members thank everyone who helped in any way to make the 11th Annual Lights for the Vets event successful. They appreciated American Legion Post No. 74 being cosponsor of the program again this year and for providing and placing the flags on the fence. They also thank the conto County Reporter and WOCO for the PR they provided. Most of all, organizers thank the public, who honored the Veterans by participating in the Lights for the Vets program.

Disabled American Veterans in Oconto Falls will receive $735 of the proceeds for its Veterans programs in the community. The remainder of the proceeds will be given to the Oconto Hospital to benefit the facility. The lights will be lit each night through the month of July and the flags will continue to remain on the fence through Veterans Day. There is a stand on the north end of the fence which holds the names of those vets sponsored in this program. Names are also posted on the front window of Bond Community Center.
