Naze 88, Algoma, was called to eternity April 9, 2017. He was bor on March 9, 1929 to th late Xavier and Helen (Meunier) Naze and held th honor of rst baby bor in the newly built Algoma Hospital on Mill St reet, Algoma, WI. Bob mar ried Gloria Hartwig on June 5, 1973. Bob attended St. Mary Grade School and Algoma High School.

Upon graduating from high school on June 6, 1947, Bob joined th United States Army June 7 at age 18. He was sw orn in at Great Lakes Tr aining Center in North Chicago, IL, attended basic training at Fort Knox, Ken- tuc ky, and was stationed at Battalion Headquar- te rs, Fort Ord, California. He etained the rank of Sgt. (Sta Sergeant) and wa honorably discharged December 1948 and was a lifetime member of the Amer ican Legion. He attended Badger Business School in Green Ba and started his career as an Insurance Agent, continuing in the business tw elve years.

Bob became Tr a ic Manager at Badger No rthland in Algoma, fol- lo wed by Kaukauna and Ne He th en worked as Tra ic Manag er at Dorco Manu- fa cturing (now EcoLite), St urgeon Bay, WI. Bob became the rst Tra ic Manag er at Wisconsin Label Corporation (Now WS Pa ckaging Group) and re- tir ed from there in 1992. From youth on, Bob maint ained a passion for natur and animals. He held a game farm license in his younger years and his avid love for hunting wild game took him near and far. Bob was a former member of Algoma Pheasant Club and a lifetime member of Whitetails Un limited.

His rst deer hunt was with his father and friends in 1950, fol- lo wed by a lifetime of hunting ducks, geese, fox, and mule deer (Wyoming trips) and always anxiously an- ticipat ed the yearly turkey hunts and deer season in WI and MI. He gathered sixty ve years of stories and memories and always va lued the privilege of hunting. Bob was an extremely kno wledgeable and talented man with a quick wit enjo yed by everyone! He deeply appreciated family and friends, treasuring all th time spent with each of them sharing special memor ies never to be forgo tten. Bob is survived by his wif Gloria (Hartwig) Naze, son West (Lindsey) Naze of Lar chmont, NY, and two st epsons Scott Felber of Alliance, OH and Lee (Cheryl Felber of Rio Creek, WI. other childr en include Brian (Linda) Na ze of Marquette, MI; Kris Soderman of Portage, WI; Kay Naze of Ft.

Myers, FL; Lisa Leahy of Hudson, WI; Karen Naze of Algoma, WI; Patti (Dave) Donart of A l- goma, WI; Robert (P am) Naze of Casco, WI; and Kevin Naze of Algoma, WI; special rst cousin, Harlen Blumreich of Seymour WI; and many dearly love grandchildren gr eat- grandchildren, ieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends too many to list always remembered. He was preceded in death by his parents, father and mother-in-law, brother and sister-in-la Ferdinand (Fritz) and Be t- ty (Gehl) Naze, sister Marion (Naze) Thielke, grandson Nathan Donart and other family members. Bob want ed to convey a very pecial thank you to Howie, Dan, Glenn, and the famed for the wonderful times over the ye ars. He so enjoyed being wit you! The Naze family wishes to extend our heartf elt gratitude to Home Instead (Home Care Services) caregivers, Barb and Fairy. Their wonder ful care allowed Bob to enjo his surroundings while he entertained with stor ies, pranks, and laughter th at will always be treasur ed, to Bellin Hospital Sta to Unity Hospice for ser vices provided, to Schinder le Funeral Home for assis ting in arrangements, and to all the precious fa m- ily and friends that made days brighter by taking the time to visit or call, including the community outreach of cards, te xts, videos, emails, pictur es, thoughts and prayers so greatly appreciated.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 5, 2017 from 2pm to 7pm, at th Schinderle Funeral Home, Algoma, with a militar service at 7pm and concluding with full militar rites at the funeral home. Thomas Meyers, 77, Algoma, passed away un- ex pectedly, Thurs. April 13, 2017.

He was born on September 18, 1939 in Algoma, to Leon and Ellen (Madden) Me yers. Tom graduated from the Algoma High Sc hool. Tom married Judith A. DeMarb on October 24, 1959 in turgeon Bay. He worked in a 3rd generation gas station with his brother Jim and his fa ther, Leon.

In his early years, along wit his brother Jim, Tom wa an avid drag racer. He wa incredibly talented at re storing classic cars to th original glory most re cently, his prize winning 1957 chevy. tr ue passion was spending time on the lake. Wherever th ere was water, you knew To would cast his shing pole into it. Tom was a re- tir re ghter of 22 years and was a member of the Algoma Boat Club.

Paul, 94, Algoma, WI, passed away Fr iday, April 14, 2017 at Oak Creek Assisted Living. He was born May 24, 1922 at the Paul Home- st ead, Town of Ahnapee, WI to Frank and Minnie (Linds tedt) Paul. Norman att ended Kodan School in th Town of Ahnapee. As a teenager he be- ga working at the Kodan Cheese Factory and re ceived a license. He later drove an open rack milk truck picking up milk cans from the fa rmers while helping his fa ther on the family farm, whic has been in the Pa ul family since 1867 when it was settled by the rst Paul family from Aus- tr ia.

He met Rita LeCap- ta in and married her on June 10, 1950 at the Holy Ro sary Church in Kewa unee, WI. Norman and Rit a purchased the Paul Fa mily Homestead Farm fr om father. He also worked at the U.S. Plyw Hard- wo ods for 20 years while st ill farming. Norman took pleasure in photography along with de veloping and enlarging pho tos in his personal dark ro om.

He started scanning pictur es into his computer and at times would take old worn pictures, scan th em and touch them up to look good again. Norman had fun playing cards wit friends and in senior clubs. He and his wife, Rit enjoyed traveling. He was a member of St. Mar Church in Algoma all his life and also a member of both Algoma and Ke waunee Senior Citizen Clubs, Algoma Golden Age Club and Maple-Forest Se- niors Club.

Norman is survived by two daughters: Jeanett (Richard) Entringer, Kokomo, IN; Marian Pa ul, Madison, WI; three sons: Richard (Blanche) Pa ul, Sheboygan, WI; Kenne th (Barbara) Paul, Fort Collins, CO and Daniel (Sue) Paul, Janesville, WI; eight grandchildren and ve great grandchildren; siste June (Willard) Micke lson, two sisters-in-law: Ang ela (Lloyd) Paul; Mary (Leander) Paul; and many nieces and nephews. He wa preceded in death by bot parents; four brot hers, three sisters-in-law: Harold (Amy) Paul; Leander (Annabelle) Paul; Sylvester (Muriel) Paul; Llo yd Paul; and brother-in-la Willard Mickelson. David W. Baierl, 68, Luxemburg, died Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at his home with his wife by his side, following a courageous battle with brain cancer attributed to Agent Orange. He was born in Brown County to Ellen M. (Baenen) Baierl and the late Roland L. Baierl on February 06, 1949.

He graduated from Luxemburg High School in 1967, an athlete lettering in football, track and wrestling. He married his high school sweetheart, Carol J. Johnson at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg on August 24, 1968. He served in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1972 serving in Vietnam for one year.

He truly was proud to be a Vietnam Veteran. Dave was employed with James Paci for 41 years as a Supervisor of the Instrumentation Department, retiring in 2009. He was a member of the American Legion Ralph Kline Post 262, serving as Commander for two years. He received his pilot license in 1988 and was part owner and past President of the Nicolet Airport. He was past President of the Luxemburg Lions Club and member of the Luxemburg Sportsman Club.

He was a life long member of St. Mary Church, Luxemburg, attending grade school, serving Mass, as well as a member of the Holy Name Society. His enjoyments included spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, attending their sporting events and was very proud of all of their accomplishments. He enjoyed taking the entire family to Mexico, and traveling with Carol to many destinations. Dave was always ready to take family and friends for a plane ride and in 1993 he built his own airplane.

Dave and Carol spent 30 plus years attending the EAA in Oshkosh. Dave enjoyed going to his home on Sunday afternoon and playing cards with his family and grabbing chocolate as he left the house. He was an avid reader and loved his aviation magazines. He also enjoyed his Thursday night evenings at Northbrook County Club with his Fantasy Football buddies. One of favorite memories was attending the Ice Bowl with his father, December 31, 1967.

Dave loved taking the family out to dinner and breakfast at Village Kitchen. Survivors include his wife, Carol and their daughters, Kim (Dale) Destiche, New Franken; Tracey (Mark) Jandrin, Luxemburg; four grand children, Lauren and Luke Destiche, Jacob and Mitchell Jandrin; his mother, Ellen Baierl, Luxemburg; seven siblings, his twin brother Donald (Nel) Baierl, AZ; Bob (Judy) Baierl, Green Bay; John (Brenda Baierl, Luxemburg; Barb (Barry) Nelson, Kewaunee; Ann (James) Voyles, Joan (Bill) Seidl, all of Luxemburg; Julie (Al) Paul, Green Bay; brothers in law and sisters in law, Julie (Dave) Dalebroux, Luxemburg; Allen (Diane) Johnson, Pat Johnson, Ethel (Wayne) Delfosse, all of Green Bay; Sally (John) Slatky, Luxemburg; Julie (Gary Blohowiak) Johnson, Denmark; Lee (Cindy) Johnson, Luxemburg; two godchildren, Anne Hopkins and Heidi VanEgeren; further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Dave was preceded in death by his father, Roland L. Baierl; one brother, Tom Baierl; one sister, Mary Baierl; his father in law and mother in law, Harold and Margaret Johnson; two brothers in law and one sister in law, Leonard Johnson, Jim Johnson, Karen Grogan. Mary Church, Luxemburg, 2:30 to on Friday, April 21, 2017. Closing American Legion Ralph Kline Post 262 and St. Mary Parish prayer service 7:00 pm on Friday. Visitation will continue between 8:30 and 10:00 am, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg.

She married William J. Wingert on October 13, 1951, at St. Luth eran Church in Rankin. Jeanne tte enjoyed baking, canning, sewing, and gardening. In her later years, Jeanne tte enjoyed restor- in antiques with William.

Jeanne greatest joy came from time spent with her amily. Jeannette will be deeply missed by her daughters, Elaine (Michael) Dams and Carol Wingert; grand- daught ers, Kristy (Grant) Lag ers and Malorie (Alex) Delv eaux; great grand- ch ildren, Brandon, Katelynn, Kaylee and Piper; st ep-grandsons, Mark and Terry (Sarah) Dams; st ep-great grandson, Cody brothers, Raymond Sieber and Glenn (Judy) Sieber and many other fa mily and friends. In addition to her parents Jeannette is preceded in death by her husband, William and a sister- in- law, Rosella Siebert. Visitation will be at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason fr om 9:00 a.m.
