GREENBAYPRESSGAZETTE.COM SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 2019 13A GREEN BAY Caroline Eva (Connie) Mraz, age 105, of Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019. She was born June 21, 1913 in Nekoosa, WI to the late John and Albertina (Johns) Lawrence. Shortly after her birth, the family moved to Green Bay where she lived the rest of her life. She was a proud 1930 mid-year graduate of Green Bay East High School. Caroline married Carl Mraz, October 16, 1939 and they were blessed with a daughter, Connie Schuler.

An active member of the community, Caroline was a member of Service League, Antiquarians, Grace Lutheran Church and Oneida Golf and Country Club, where she golfed into her 90s. As an avid Packer fan she was one of several women in the community who solicited donations from local businesses to keep the Packers in Green Bay. She loved sharing her stories with her grandchildren as well as her experience at Super Bowls I II. She is survived by her daughter, Connie (William) Schuler; granddaughter, Tina (Larry) Campbell; grandson, Christopher (Amanda) Schuler; great- grandchildren: William and Michael Campbell, Leo and Cora Schuler; nieces and nephews, honorary son, Steve Horn, and sister-in-law Patricia She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 brothers and 4 sisters. Visitation will be held at Grace Lutheran Church (321 S.

Madison Green Bay), Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 10 to 11 AM. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Mraz DE PERE Carol Marie Plog, Green Bay, passed away on January 25, 2019 at Angels on Arcadian, De Pere. She was born in Marinette, WI on July 6, 1924 to the late Louis and Agnes (Kloida) Plog. The family lived in Marinette for a few years and then moved to De Pere.

In De Pere, Carol attended St. Catholic grade school and then continued on to high school attending and graduating from East De Pere High School, schools that she loved. After graduation from high school, she also enjoyed many of the classes at Vocational School and later enjoyed many classes with LIR (Learning in Retirement). In De Pere, she worked at the Wisconsin Telephone Company as an operator and later at the Broadway Garage as a bookkeeper, both jobs that she loved. After moving to Green Bay with her family, she worked as a bookkeeper at a few places including an insurance agency, Brown County Treasurers Office, State Board of Health and Kitslaar Interiors until retirement.

Carol was a member of SS Peter Paul Catholic Church and was also a member of the Catholic Club. She also volunteered for various organizations in the area. Carol loved the outdoors and spent many happy hours bicycling, playing tennis and ice skating at Legion Park in De Pere. She also enjoyed art, writ- ing stories and poetry, nature, reading (especially mystery novels), loved animals, the weekly card games with her friends, and she especially enjoyed the many happy times spent with her family. She also loved music, attending many musicals in New York and Chicago and the many great musicals at St.

Norbert College in De Pere. She especially loved to travel as well as taking many wonderful trips with her friends. Survivors include many nieces and nephews: Judie (Tom) Hoslet; Jeanne Suda, De Pere; Roderick Robertson, Winona, MN; Linda Dee, Rochester, MN; Kathy (Ron) Bruch, Oshkosh; Terry (Darrell) Reed, Hoschton, GA; Ronald (Lisa) Plog and Scott Plog, Green Bay; and also many special grand-nieces and nephews and many special great grand-nieces and nephews; special cousins and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Do- rothy and Ralph Robertson; brother and sister-in-law Francis and Mildred Plog; a niece and her husband, Virginia and Bob Vande Hei and their son, Rick; nephew-in-laws, Joe Suda and Joe Dee, and grand-nieces Elizabeth Reed and Ashley Plog. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 11:00 at the Allouez Catholic Cemetery Chapel, 2121 Riverside Dr, Green Bay, WI 54301 with Msgr.

The family would like to thank the staff at Angels on Arcadian, Artisan Assisted Living and AseraCare Hospice for Carols recent care. Carol Plog GREEN BAY On Thursday, January 31, 2019, Sandra M. (Kane) MacIntyre-Nelson, 73 of Green Bay, WI, passed away gracefully at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous three-year battle with cancer.

Sandie was born on September 16, 1945, and grew up in Maribel, WI, on the dairy farm of her parents, the late Jerome and Eleanor (Grimm) Kane. Sandie graduated from Denmark High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from UW-Oshkosh. Upon graduation, Sandie taught grade school at Cormier School in Ashwaubenon, WI, before marrying Peter MacIntyre and raising son, Andrew (Shauna) MacIntyre, Colgate, WI, and daughter Amy MacIntyre, Washington, DC. They spent 37 wonderful years together traveling the world (China, Germany, Australia, raising a family and enjoying time with (and spoiling) their grandchildren Austin and Paige, before Peter passed away in 2007. Sandie was blessed to find a kind, loving and supportive partner again in Larry Nelson of Green Bay, WI.

They were married in 2014, and enjoyed dining out with friends, spending winters in Texas and visiting with children, Laurie (Ken) Buckeye, Minneapolis; Mark (Deb) Nelson, River Falls, WI; and Lisa (Steve) Gundersen, Sparta, NJ; as well as, grandchildren, Katharyn, Stephen, John, Michael, Erik and Anna. A longtime member of Resurrection Church in Allouez and an active participant in Service League, Antiquarian Society, P.E.O., Wednesday Night Square Dance Club, Birthday Club and Sandie cherished the friends she made while helping those less fortunate. Sandie was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother who loved reading, collecting recipes, going to estate sales, cooking, working part-time at (for the eating sweets, traveling and shopping (sell your Talbots and Chicos She enjoyed a rich and full life and always felt blessed having a wonderful and loving group of family and friends around her. Sandie is survived by her husband Larry, son and daughter, stepchildren, grandchildren and numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation for Sandie will be on Tuesday, February 5, at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Drive, Allouez, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Rev.

Sandra M. (Kane) MacIntyre-Nelson GREEN BAY Barbara Katherine Nienow, 63, Green Bay, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019. She was born on November 11, 1955, in Green Bay to William and Betty (Barrett) Panure. Barbara graduated from St. Joseph Academy.

She was employed for 30 years by Ace Baking. On Octo- ber 6, 1979, Barbara married Rollie Nienow. Barbara loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed family time at NASCAR racing, as well as her trips to Las Vegas she loved to play the slot machines and Bingo. She was a long-time member of St.

Elizabeth Ann Seton. faith was very important to her. Barbara is survived by her daughters, Dawn (Zak) Esterling and Holly (Jesse) Mertens; four grandchildren, Jacob and Kaitlyn Esterling, and Blake and Chase Mertens; two brothers, Bob (Lynn) Panure and Chuck (Holly) Panure; two sisters, Nancy (Steve) Virt and Mary Sue Winkel; parents, Elmer and Polly Nienow; and his siblings, Ann Cartier (David Jones), Julie (Randy) Krause, Al (Susan) Nienow, Joel Nienow, Sue Ellen Nienow, John (Sherry) Nienow, Steve Nienow, and Tom Nienow; Godmother, Mary Zingler; Godchildren, Shane Nienow, Ryan Panure, and Bob (Nicole) Winkel; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rollie; her son, Shawn Michael Nienow; her parents, William Panure and Betty Panure; and brother-in-law, David Nienow. The Bradley brothers had a huge impact on Nashville during the 1950s and beyond, with Harold serving as a member of the of session musicians and Owen leading Decca Records. Harold was born in 1926 and switched from banjo to guitar at the urging of his broth- er.
